Au sein du projet métropolitain GRANDALPE, le secteur de la gare d’Echirolles représente un intérêt stratégique majeur.

Au-delà de la présence d’un pôle d’échange multimodal important pour les habitant-es comme pour les activités économiques du secteur, l’aménagement à venir des terrains appartenant à la société ATOS représente une vraie opportunité pour la création, entre la Villeneuve et le centre-ville, d’un véritable quartier plus agréable à vivre, offrant de nouveaux services et de nombreuses activités.
